Hearts of Steel Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh Hearts of Steel is a nonprofit support organization for breast cancer survivors, built around camaraderie and dragon boat paddling. Its mission is to help survivors strengthen their minds, bodies, and spirits while fostering well-being, friendship, and community connection. The group is open to survivors of all ages and physical abilities, and members can take part in activities according to their interests.

Dragon boating provides an opportunity for exercise, strength-building, and endurance, while the organization also offers communication, peer support, social activities, and team-building. Hearts of Steel emphasizes determination and perseverance and welcomes suggestions from members.
