Catholic HEART Workcamp (CHWC) organizes week-long Catholic mission trips for youth groups, bringing teens and parish communities together to serve people in need. Operating since 1993, the organization holds summer camps in cities across the country, where participants put their faith into action through hands-on community service. The experience combines hard work with opportunities to build friendships, meet young Catholics from other communities, and reflect on how to continue serving at home.
Each camp includes daily Mass, prayer, worship, Adoration, Reconciliation, and reflection, giving participants time to deepen their relationship with Christ alongside their service. CHWC describes its mission through three themes: encountering Christ, serving others with time and gifts, and connecting with a wider Catholic community. Its website provides information for youth groups about dates and locations, trip types, pricing, payments, registration, and preparation. It also offers fundraising ideas and promotional resources, and invites communities to explore hosting a camp.
