Project HeatSafe is a collaborative research project based in the National University of Singapore. Comprised of a diverse team of physiologists, economists, geographers, epidemiologists, and scientists from various disciplines, the project aims to address the pressing issue of rising temperatures in Southeast Asia caused by climate change. With 2020 being the hottest year on record, the urgency to mitigate the impacts of heat exposure on human health and work productivity has never been greater.

Project HeatSafe focuses on understanding how our changing climate affects exertional populations and identifying sustainable preventive policies and actions to reduce these impacts. Supported by the National Research Foundation, Prime Minister's Office, Singapore, under the Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE) program, Project HeatSafe is dedicated to comprehensive research and collaboration. With leading partners, collaborating institutions, and a multidisciplinary team, Project HeatSafe strives to make a significant impact in mitigating the effects of rising temperatures in Southeast Asia and ensuring a safer and more sustainable future
