Heatexpo

HEATEXPO is an international trade fair focused on innovative heating and cooling supply. Held at Messe Dortmund, the event brings together solution providers from plant engineering, infrastructure services, consulting and energy supply to showcase technologies and discuss the future of thermal energy. Its broad, value-chain approach serves utilities, energy companies, industry, housing providers and municipalities.

The exhibition covers heat and cooling generation, including combined heat and power, large-scale heat pumps, geothermal energy, power-to-X and industrial waste heat. It also addresses local and district heating, gas and electricity supply, networks, transport infrastructure, thermal storage, installation and maintenance, as well as digital controls, measurement, sensors and data analysis. Planning, financing, investment, policy, regulation and municipal heat planning are part of the programme.

Alongside exhibitor displays, HEATEXPO offers talks, workshops, forums, masterclasses and networking opportunities. Its evening event, HEATEXPO NIGHT, gives exhibitors, visitors and industry peers a chance to continue conversations after the first day. The 2026 edition is scheduled for November 24–26 in Dortmund, with tickets and exhibitor registration available.
