Heavy Duty Scholarships

The Heavy Duty Scholarships program is dedicated to supporting students aspiring to build careers in the automotive aftermarket and commercial vehicle industry. Established in 1996, this initiative has become a centralized hub, connecting students with hundreds of scholarship opportunities offered by over 40 partnering organizations. By completing a single application, students can access scholarships ranging from $250 to $10,000, with more than 200 scholarships awarded annually.

The program is operated by the University of the Aftermarket Foundation, which took over its management in 2016. Since its inception, over 5,000 scholarships amounting to over $6 million have been allocated to deserving individuals, prioritizing those pursuing careers in the sector and children of industry families. Recipients are eligible for additional grants after graduation if they secure employment in the automotive or heavy-duty fields. With a vast network of over 500,000 businesses committed to quality vehicle service and repair, the Heavy Duty Scholarships program plays a vital role in fostering future industry talent.
