Cathrin Engel is a freelance midwife serving families in Ahaus and the surrounding area. Since qualifying as a midwife in 2020, she has supported expectant parents through pregnancy, birth preparation and the early weeks of family life. After working in several delivery rooms, she chose to focus on individual, holistic care and began working independently in June 2022.

Cathrin offers guidance during pregnancy, providing a space to discuss questions, concerns, wishes and possible anxieties about birth. Following the birth, she provides postnatal care to help parents adjust to life with their newborn. Her support includes medical care and advice on recovery, breastfeeding, baby care, infant nutrition and bonding. She also offers help with pregnancy-related complaints, kinesio taping and soft laser therapy.

Cathrin aims to create a relaxed, reassuring atmosphere where families feel comfortable asking questions. By sharing practical knowledge about newborn care and family health, she helps parents build confidence and approach their new routines with greater ease. Her services are available to families in and around Ahaus.
