Her support spans the journey from early pregnancy through the first year of a child’s life, with a holistic approach tailored to each family’s needs and circumstances. Services include pregnancy advice and antenatal care, birth preparation courses, close postnatal support during the weeks after birth, complementary food guidance and postnatal exercise classes.

Kinesiology taping is also listed among her offerings. Courses take place at the community centre of the Auferstehungskirche in Surheide, and the practice offers a room for rent as well as a parent-and-baby meet-up. Joppien was born in Bremerhaven, trained as a midwife in Kiel from 2016 to 2019 and established a midwifery practice in Bruchhausen-Vilsen in 2023.

She is a certified practice instructor and welcomes midwifery students seeking supervised experience in an out-of-hospital setting. In 2025, she began a new chapter serving families in her home region
