Hebammenpraxis Erdenlichter is the midwifery practice of Katrin Ternes, serving expectant parents and families in Wülfrath and the surrounding area. The practice offers personal support throughout pregnancy, birth preparation and the early weeks with a newborn. Pregnancy and postnatal care take place in the family’s home, allowing parents to receive guidance in a familiar setting and prepare for the transition to life with their baby.

Services include pregnancy support, care during the postnatal period, postnatal exercise and individual birth preparation. Group courses cover pregnancy yoga, postnatal exercise and birth preparation for couples, as well as first aid for infants and young children. Acupuncture for birth preparation is also listed among the course offerings. From January 2026, courses are held at the parent education centre at Ev Krankenhaus in Mettmann, while home visits remain available for pregnancy and postnatal care. Katrin Ternes encourages families to make contact early to discuss their needs and availability, with enquiries accepted by WhatsApp, email or the website contact form.
