Hebammenpraxis in Strausberg

KiaOra is the midwifery practice of Anke Auerbach, serving families in Strausberg and nearby communities, including Rehfelde, Petershagen-Eggersdorf, Fredersdorf, Neuenhagen and Prötzel. Anke trained at the University Women’s Hospital in Leipzig and gained professional experience in hospitals in Saxony and Bavaria, as well as in home-birth care in Australia. After moving to Strausberg with her family in 2011, she continued her work at Krankenhaus Märkisch-Oderland and opened her own practice in 2013 to offer more personal support.

KiaOra accompanies families through pregnancy, birth preparation and the weeks after birth, with care extending through the end of breastfeeding. Services include pregnancy check-ups, help with pregnancy-related discomfort, birth-preparation classes and pregnancy yoga. After birth, the practice offers postpartum care, recovery and pelvic-floor training, baby massage, PEKiP, baby yoga, complementary mother-and-baby yoga, and support with complementary feeding. Additional offerings include courses for grandparents, sessions for families affected by pregnancy loss, Reiki talks, aromatherapy, children’s yoga and pelvic-floor training for all. The practice also provides information on umbilical-cord-blood storage.
