Hellenic BAN, also known as HeBAN, is a national non-profit organization that aims to fill the funding and expertise gap in the Greek entrepreneurial ecosystem. Established in 2015, HeBAN strives to create a sustainable network for business angels and early stage investors in Greece. While it does not directly fund start-ups, HeBAN supports the formation and collaboration of local business angel groups and motivates potential and active business angels to contribute to the early stage investment eco-system.

The services provided by HeBAN include education and training for private investors, networking opportunities, high-quality deal-flow, and the dissemination of latest research and best practices. For entrepreneurs and start-up facilitators, HeBAN serves as an access point for private investment. HeBAN is also connected to the international early stage investor community, being the Greek National Member of EBAN and the National Lead for Greece of GBAN.

With its vision to establish angel investing as an essential part of the Greek ecosystem, HeBAN aims to strengthen local and regional capabilities and skills, facilitating the growth and development of innovative start-ups
