Hebron University

Hebron University is a Palestinian university located in Hebron in the West Bank. Established in 1971, it is described as the first Palestinian university and operates under the Ministry of Higher Education. The university provides academic programs through its colleges, including bachelor’s, postgraduate, and two-year intermediate diploma programs, as well as an intensive academic program. Its academic and community offerings also include continuing education, community development, and language learning.

Hebron University supports research through its research deanship, research centers, scholarly journal, digital repository, and academic conferences. Students can access admissions and registration services, scholarships and loans, career and alumni support, and a range of extracurricular activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and university choir and scouting groups. Campus facilities and services include a library, a Braille laboratory for people with visual impairments, a legal clinic, a health clinic, a museum, a media center, and a radio station. The university also maintains international relations and offers opportunities for guests, volunteers, trainees, and international students.
