The Hedgehog Program, officially registered in 2019, originated in 2014 through the passion of Judith Duinkerken, who initially created a hedge-themed wiki to share care tips. Over the years, it evolved from a simple information site into a robust multilingual platform known globally for its dedication to hedgehogs and tenrecs. In honor of her late brother, whose passion for hedgehogs inspired Judith, the program’s logo features Archie, a beloved African Pygmy Hedgehog.
