HED Tae Kwon Do (HEDTKD) is a network of Tae Kwon-Do clubs offering welcoming martial arts training for children and adults, from beginners to advanced students. Affiliated with the Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain (TAGB), the clubs provide professionally run sessions led by qualified instructors. Classes are designed to suit different ages and abilities, and students do not need special equipment to get started.
HEDTKD promotes Tae Kwon-Do as both a sport and a family activity, with many relatives training together. Lessons develop fitness, flexibility, coordination and concentration, alongside practical self-defence and combat skills. The teaching also emphasizes discipline, self-control, tolerance and respect.
Newcomers can attend two free trial lessons without booking, and may join at any time. HEDTKD operates clubs across locations including Reading, Fleet, Guildford, Maidenhead, Bracknell, Kingston, Richmond, Woking and Twyford. The website also offers information about the art and its history, belt theory resources and quizzes, student news, testimonials, and details for finding a club
