The Hellenic Equestrian Federation, established in 1990, is a prominent member of the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI). With a strong affiliation to over 50 equestrian clubs across Greece, the Federation plays a vital role in promoting the sport of horseback riding at both national and international levels.

This organization oversees a variety of disciplines including show jumping, dressage, eventing, endurance riding, and therapeutic horseback riding. It provides essential services such as athlete and horse registration, competition management, and the issuance of athlete licenses. The Federation is also responsible for upholding regulations, ensuring facilities meet technical specifications, and facilitating the recruitment of judges, coaches, and veterinarians.

In addition to supporting athletes through training and competitions, the Federation organizes national and international events, such as the prestigious Athens Equestrian Festival.
