Hegnauhof

Hegnauhof is a family-run farm operated by the Ziegler family on the edge of the Schurwald forest. Bringing together agriculture, horses and seasonal events, it offers visitors a chance to experience rural life and nature. The Hegnauhof Ranch provides boarding for around 30 Western horses, with facilities including a covered riding hall, outdoor arena, two round pens, a wash area and pastures. Horses are accommodated in paddock boxes, boxes with additional turnout or a group housing area, and the family places importance on a welcoming stable community.

The farm cultivates around 50 hectares of land, including arable fields and grassland, and keeps a herd of Zebu cattle, as well as chickens, cats and rabbits. Seasonal farm activities include sowing, haymaking and the autumn apple harvest. In the lead-up to Christmas, Hegnauhof sells its own homegrown Christmas trees from the first Sunday of Advent and hosts a farm Christmas market on the third Advent weekend.
