Heidi Huckleberry

Heidi Huckleberry creates nature-inspired craft kits that encourage children to explore, imagine, and make their own miniature worlds. Designed primarily for ages 5 to 11, the kits combine outdoor discovery with hands-on indoor creativity and are made in the USA. Children can collect natural treasures such as twigs, moss, stones, and flowers, then use the kit’s pop-up diorama, illustrated background, characters, props, and step-by-step booklet to build a scene. A bonus mini-storybook helps bring each creation to life through storytelling.

The collection includes themed dioramas such as The Book Fairy, S’Mores N’More, Gnome Sweet Home, At the Dog Park, and Holly Jolly Winter Fun. The activities are designed to support creative expression, problem-solving, confidence, and connection with nature, while offering an alternative to screen-based play. Most scenes take about an hour to assemble, though children can add details over a longer session. Younger children can participate with adult or sibling help. Heidi Huckleberry also shares craft ideas, nature-inspired content, and occasional updates through its newsletter.
