Heights Experience

Heights Experience is a family-run outdoor activity and event venue based on a 2,200-acre, fifth-generation farm near Shannon, at the foot of the Tararua Ranges. It offers a distinctive rural setting for corporate events, team-building days, celebrations and gatherings with friends. Guests can take part in a range of outdoor activities, including clay bird shooting, archery, axe throwing, a golf challenge and lawn games, with options suited to friendly competition and group experiences.

The venue’s signature lawn games add a relaxed, social element to a day outdoors. After the activities, visitors can gather in a restored 1905 woolshed, converted into a rustic event space for corporate meetings and lively celebrations. Heights Experience presents its offering as a blend of outdoor fun and rural hospitality, giving groups a place to enjoy the farm landscape, share a meal or conversation, and reflect on the day.

The business provides packages and booking options, as well as arrangements for corporate events, and welcomes enquiries by phone or email
