Heimbigner.com is Jim Heimbigner’s personal website, dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the Heimbigner family. Rather than offering commercial products or services, the site provides family-history resources through sections for documents, pictures, a family tree, and links. Its central feature traces the family’s changing surname and migration from Germany to Russia, then through Canada and the United States.

The account draws on family records and research by relatives, including Nellie and Gary Heimbigner, and follows ancestors such as Johann Michael, Conrad, Andrew, and Henry Heimbigner. It describes immigration in the late nineteenth century, settlement in Washington State, and the establishment of a farm near Ritzville. Details about marriages, descendants, homesteading, crops, and early farming conditions give the genealogy a personal and historical dimension. The website also notes uncertainties in the family record, including spellings, travel routes, and some relationships, distinguishing documented information from family accounts and possibilities. Overall, Heimbigner.com serves as a personal archive for family members and others interested in the Heimbigner lineage and its history.
