Heiraten mit Bernd

Heiraten mit Bernd is the personal wedding celebrancy service of Bernd Mathieu, who leads free wedding ceremonies in Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate and travels throughout Germany and to couples’ chosen destinations, including Mallorca and Ibiza. Drawing on his background as a social worker, coach and Tai Chi teacher, Bernd helps couples shape a ceremony around their relationship, preferences and plans for the day. His service begins with a free introductory conversation to discuss expectations and check that the couple feels comfortable working with him.

He then holds detailed planning meetings, learns the couple’s story, develops the speech and ceremony structure, and supports decisions about elements such as music. In the lead-up to the wedding, he remains available for questions and practical coordination. On the day, Bernd works with the venue, musician and wedding party to help the ceremony run smoothly.

His approach is warm, collaborative and tailored to each couple, with the aim of creating a meaningful celebration of their love
