Heitsch Gallery | Munich

Heitsch Gallery, located in the heart of Munich between Gärtnerplatz and Viktualienmarkt, has been a prominent presence in the international contemporary art market since 1994. With a focus on abstract and minimalist painting, sculpture, conceptual and concrete art, as well as photography, film, and figuration, the gallery showcases a diverse range of artistic expressions. Founder Jörg Heitsch, who comes from an artistic background himself, has a deep appreciation for Op-Art and Minimalism, while also exploring the realms of Hyperrealism.

This unique combination creates a captivating and thought-provoking selection of artworks. The gallery aims to bridge the gap between art and life, striving to connect the conceptual side of art with its practical applications. Heitsch Gallery also hosts various projects, such as the SKULPTURALE, a biennial exhibition that places contemporary sculpture in an international context and stimulates a dialogue with the zeitgeist.

Additionally, the gallery explores the concept of NEW MASTERS, where contemporary artists engage with art history. With a strong commitment to enhancing the quality and content of contemporary art, Heitsch Gallery establishes itself as a platform for innovative artists who redefine the boundaries of art history
