Hélène Grimaud

Hélène Grimaud is an internationally acclaimed pianist, writer, and wolf conservation advocate whose artistic work is shaped by emotional intensity, curiosity, and a strong connection to nature. Her official website brings together information about her biography, performances, recordings, books, news, and media. As a concert pianist, she presents recital programs featuring works by composers such as Beethoven and Schubert, and performs with orchestras and musical collaborators.

Her album For Clara pairs Schumann’s Kreisleriana with music by Brahms, with baritone Konstantin Krimmel joining her for selected songs. The site also features concert broadcasts and streaming performances, including Gershwin’s Piano Concerto in F with Yannick Nézet-Séguin and the Orchestre Métropolitain. Grimaud is the author of books exploring music and other subjects; her 2026 title, Invoking the Wild Soul of Music, considers connections between music, nature, and spirituality, written with Stéphane Barsacq.

Beyond her musical career, she supports wildlife conservation and human rights, including benefit performances for the Wolf Conservation Center
