About Helical
Helical is a dynamic software company founded in early 2021, dedicated to providing innovative solutions for genetic and genomic evaluations in the field of animal and plant breeding. Our team of passionate individuals focuses on developing high-quality software and support services for organizations engaged in breeding activities. With a particular emphasis on performance, ease-of-use, flexibility, and transparency, we specialize in next-generation software for genetic evaluations and web-based genomic data repositories.
Helical collaborates closely with Theta Solutions LLC, our sibling company, to drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge projects like the national New Zealand Dairy Evaluation "NZAEL3. 0". Led by our Founder & CEO Dan Garrick, whose expertise spans computational fluid dynamics and high-performance computing, our team also includes geneticist Dr.
Dorian Garrick and scientists like Dr. Rhiannon Handcock. Together, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of genetic software tools and advancing the field of animal breeding.
