Helios Air Charter

Helios Air Charter is a South African helicopter charter company offering executive travel and specialist aviation services. Operating seven days a week throughout the year from Grand Central Airport in Midrand, Johannesburg, the company has been flying across South Africa since 1998. Its services include executive transfers for business leaders and VIPs, providing direct travel to airports, corporate hubs, hotels and other destinations. Helios also arranges private helicopter transfers to and from game lodges, as well as scenic flights showcasing Johannesburg and its surrounding landscapes.

Beyond passenger transport, Helios supports film, television, commercial and stills productions with aerial photography and coordinated camera flights. The company also undertakes helicopter-based environmental and geophysical surveys, using technologies such as LiDAR, magnetometers, thermal imaging and electromagnetic systems to gather data in remote or difficult-to-reach areas. For clients with urgent or challenging delivery needs, it provides secure cargo transport, including the movement of equipment, medical supplies and critical parts.
