Heliotec

Heliotec is a family-owned, factory-direct supplier of window covering materials, serving fabricators, manufacturers, and raw-material distributors since 1987. Based in Madison, Wisconsin, the company supports businesses across North America with products for the window covering, window fashion, and solar shading industries. Its offerings include fabric rolls, hardware, and motors, available through stock, quick-ship, and custom project pricing programs designed around customer volumes.

Heliotec works with partner mills to match materials to each customer’s specifications and provides samples so buyers can assess quality before placing an order. The company emphasizes consistent specifications across reorders, predictable lead times, consolidated purchasing, and direct support from its team. Its mill-direct model is intended to help customers simplify sourcing and manage costs without middleman markups.

Heliotec also operates Ignition, an in-house creative and growth agency focused exclusively on the window covering, window fashion, and solar shading trade. This service offers industry-specific marketing support alongside the company’s material supply business. Customers can browse products, request wholesale quotes, and explore partnership opportunities through Heliotec.
