SC Hellas Wanne-Eickel

SC Hellas Wanne-Eickel e.V. is a swimming club in Wanne-Eickel offering lessons, fitness activities and training for children and adults at different stages and ability levels. Its courses range from water familiarisation and beginner swimming to youth training, free swimming, aquafitness and competitive swimming.

In beginner classes, children learn to feel comfortable and safe in the water, develop their first swimming movements and work toward swimming independently. Lessons emphasise enjoyment, individual support and water safety, including pool rules. The youth programme builds swimming skills according to each participant’s level, offers opportunities to earn swimming badges and can prepare swimmers for competition. For more advanced athletes, the club’s competitive team provides performance-focused training, teamwork and opportunities to compete with other clubs at regional and higher-level events.

Adults can join aquafitness sessions for a joint-friendly, full-body workout that supports endurance, strength and mobility in a group setting. Prospective members are welcome to arrange a trial session before deciding whether to join. Membership applications can be downloaded or requested from a coach.
