Hellebucks

Hellebucks is a fan-made website that tracks, by the second, its estimate of the salary Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck has forfeited while suspended. Created by a Jets fan with a knack for numbers, the live counter uses Hellebuyck’s reported $7.5 million base salary for the 2026–27 season and an estimate of how NHL pay is distributed across the regular season. The site explains its calculations and limitations, noting that the figure is not a formal accounting and may differ from the actual amount.

Alongside the counter, visitors can view the suspension countdown, replay a goal horn, see comparisons that put the forfeited salary into perspective, and share a snapshot of the total. Hellebucks also invites supporters to help raise one day’s estimated salary for KidSport Manitoba, a Winnipeg-headquartered charity that helps cover organized-sport registration fees for children whose families cannot afford them. Donations are processed directly through CanadaHelps, which issues tax receipts; Hellebucks does not handle the funds.
