About Fondation Hëllef fir d'Natur
Established in 1982, the natur&ëmwelt foundation aims to safeguard existing natural heritage and promote it with appropriate actions. They manage 1650 hectares of rare reserves and habitats, with 84 sites considered particularly rich in biodiversity. The foundation's main mission is the acquisition and management of natural reserves, complemented by awareness campaigns and information dissemination.
They also initiate various projects to preserve nature, such as the protection of hedgerows, wild fruit trees, solitary trees, orchards, wetlands, and more. These projects focus on securing habitats for iconic species and typical landscapes in Luxembourg.
