Helmets to Hardhats (H2H) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting military heroes in transitioning into successful civilian careers in the building trades. Created by the Center for Military Recruitment, Assessment and Veterans Employment, H2H connects transitioning active-duty military service members, veterans, National Guard, and Reservists with skilled training and quality career opportunities in the construction industry. Through partnerships with 15 international construction trade unions, such as the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers (SMART), H2H helps service members explore the construction trades, provides earn-while-you-learn apprenticeship training programs, and connects them with employers.

H2H also educates service members on how to utilize their GI Bill benefits to supplement their incomes during participation in a registered apprenticeship program. With over 40,000 military personnel successfully transitioning into civilian careers in the construction trades, H2H is proud to be the gateway to meaningful, well-paying careers for our military heroes
