Helmholtz KLIMA is the Helmholtz Association’s dialogue platform for climate-relevant research. It connects the research community with policymakers and society, helping bring scientific knowledge into conversations about climate challenges and possible responses. Through its dialogue formats, the platform creates opportunities for researchers and political representatives to discuss major societal issues and how collaboration between science and policy can support solutions.
Helmholtz KLIMA shares research and expertise through stories about approaches developed by Helmholtz researchers to address global warming and its impacts. Its website also offers a network of experts, climate knowledge searchable by topic, articles, and information about events. The platform produces the podcast “Helmholtz Talks – Science and Politics in Conversation,” which features discussions between researchers and politicians.
