Witnessing a father's pain, an outcome of lack of finance to undergo a simple prostate surgery struck me at heart. Hence, our founder kept his reverie of supporting fathers leaving with Prostate-related issues leading to the formally registering ‘’HELP A FATHER FOUNDATION LBG" as an NGO dedicated to support fathers suffering from prostate cancer The foundation is committed to reducing the impact of prostate cancer on Ghanaian men and their spouses. We do this by: ● By promoting prostate cancer issues in Ghana through credible information ● Providing financial support to patients to effectively treat prostate cancer. ● Providing awareness of prostate cancer issues through media and father-to-father advocacy and campaigns ● Working closely with health facilities and practitioners to provide the best patient care services for men with prostate cancer. - Engaging the government and public sector providers to improve prostate cancer care support services. About Help a Father Foundation
Help a Father Foundation is a Ghana-focused organization working to improve healthcare equity for men affected by prostate cancer, particularly fathers and people in underserved communities. Its mission is to help reduce the burden of the disease and encourage greater public attention to prostate cancer in Ghana. The foundation shares information about prostate cancer symptoms, risk factors, testing, treatment, and living with a diagnosis, alongside downloadable resources and research updates.

Its wider work includes identifying and funding people in need, providing practical support such as food, and raising awareness through community members, media, and health specialists.
The foundation also collaborates with NGOs, healthcare workers, citizens, and government to support projects and improve access to services
