About Helping a Hero
Helping a Hero is a remarkable brand focused on empowering and supporting wounded heroes who have been severely injured in the war on terror. Founded in 2006, Helping a Hero is a 501(c) (3) organization that works tirelessly to provide specially adapted homes for qualifying service members in partnership with builders, developers, communities, and veterans. They are driven to engage the community in providing essential services and resources for wounded heroes and their families.
In addition to providing adapted homes, Helping a Hero goes above and beyond by offering various support programs. These programs include marriage retreats, caregiver programs, recreational activities, emotional support, and financial assistance. The brand aims to ensure that wounded heroes receive comprehensive care and support throughout their recovery journey.
Helping a Hero's impact is remarkable, with over 100 homes built across 24 states. They continue to work towards their goal of providing these specially adapted homes to qualified service members. By donating and attending their events, such as the Lee Greenwood Patriot Award Events, you can contribute to the cause and celebrate the brave individuals who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedom.
