About Helping Hands Mission Inc.
Helping Hands Mission Inc. What started as a small outreach project has evolved into a strong presence across the region, with a particular focus on Melbourne's north west. The organization supports over five hundred families each week through their Emergency and Material Aid Programs.
They also operate Op Shops, which serve as central hubs for the community. These shops offer a wide range of affordable clothing, books, homewares, and other donated items, with proceeds going towards funding their aid programs. Helping Hands Mission now boasts five Op Shops spread across Melbourne's North West suburbs and has a dedicated team delivering crucial Material Aid on a daily basis.
They also provide training and employment pathways for Work for the Dole participants and the long-term unemployed. With a passionate team of 300 volunteers, Helping Hands Mission is committed to supporting Victorian families in need, whether they are facing hardship, recovering from a disaster, or experiencing domestic violence.
