HELPO ONGD | Cascais is an impartial and non-political Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that has been actively promoting development since 2008. With a presence in Portugal, Moçambique, São Tomé e Príncipe, and Guiné-Bissau, HELPO focuses on education, nutrition, maternal and child health, emergency aid, and global citizenship education. Through its various initiatives, HELPO has constructed schools, libraries, daycare centers, nutrition centers, and rainwater harvesting systems.

Moreover, the organization provides community training, health education, and continuous assistance and training. To fund these projects, HELPO offers a Child Sponsorship Program, accepts unrestricted donations, and receives financial support from international agencies and companies. Currently, the organization reaches approximately 146,803 children.
