Brageva is a Norwegian provider of user-controlled personal assistance (BPA), helping people with disabilities and substantial support needs live more independently and participate in everyday life on their own terms. Under a BPA arrangement, the customer or a family member directs assistants’ daily work, including who works, when and how. Brageva employs the assistants and handles contracts, insurance, health and safety, training and administrative systems, while the municipality retains overall responsibility and pays for the hours. Brageva says it holds service concessions in more than 100 municipalities across Norway.

Additional support for service leaders includes recruitment, scheduling, training, absence follow-up and conflict management. Brageva also offers BPA for children and functional assistance.
