About Helseinn
**Sykehuset Innlandet**
Sykehuset Innlandet, in collaboration with Elverum kommune, is pioneering innovative mental health offerings through the Recovery School model. Supported by project funds from Helse Sør-Øst, the course "Fem steg til hverdagsglede" is hosted at Helseinns Innoverksted in Terningen Arena. This course incorporates techniques derived from extensive research and aims to enhance life quality for participants of all backgrounds.
Key to the program’s success is the integration of experiential and professional expertise, where facilitators draw from both personal experience and clinical knowledge, creating a supportive learning environment. Participants engage as equal members in the learning process, fostering a sense of community and empowerment.
Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many reporting improved health awareness, hope for the future, and enhanced mental well-being. Moving forward, Sykehuset Innlandet aspires to expand Recovery School courses throughout Innlandet, ensuring access to transformative mental health resources for all residents.
