Helsingin Wushu

Helsingin Wushu ry is a Helsinki-based club offering year-round instruction in Chinese wushu arts at its gym in the Cable Factory. Its classes cover wushu kungfu, taiji and Health Qigong, with options for adults, young people and children, as well as beginner courses and regular training. The club welcomes newcomers, with free trial opportunities offered at the first session of several courses.

Wushu kungfu classes introduce students to kicks, strikes and stances, while children’s sessions also include safe, non-contact practice, acrobatic activities and games. Taiji and related training include forms with swords and broadswords, while Health Qigong courses teach gentle movement sequences combined with breathing and relaxation to support mobility, balance and wellbeing. Instruction is designed to be supportive and accessible, including for people with no previous experience in qigong.

Helsingin Wushu also shares timetables, course information and training fees, and organizes seasonal activities such as summer training and camps. Classes are held at Tallberginkatu 1, with Finnish instruction and English support when needed.
