Helsinki XR Center is a leading XR hub in Europe that brings together startups, industries, innovators, students, professionals, and investors for co-creation, new business opportunities, and talent development. As the home of Extended Realities, this center serves as an incubator for talent and a cultural hub that fosters learning and collaboration for all XR artists, entrepreneurs, engineers, scientists, students, and enthusiasts in virtual and augmented reality. With operations beginning in early 2019, Helsinki XR Center has already made significant strides, collaborating with over a hundred organizations, providing working space, equipment, and mentoring to over 30 developer hub teams.

They have also hosted numerous XR events and garnered over 3000 visits to their premises, including the impressive HXRC Showroom. In addition to supporting Finnish XR startups, Helsinki XR Center organizes various networking events, carries out RDI projects, and offers a range of services such as XR Workshops, special facility rentals, venue services, and business coaching for early-stage startups. Located in Arabia, Helsinki, as part of the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences' Creative Campus, the center operates in close partnership with the Finnish Virtual Reality Association FIVR, powered by the City of Helsinki.
