Helumi is a cloud storage service designed specifically for Mac users who work with large files. It appears in Finder as a drive, so files look and open like normal in familiar apps, while remaining in the cloud rather than taking up space on the computer. Helumi streams only the parts a file needs as you use it, enabling large videos and other media to open without downloading the entire file first.

Users can add files by dragging them onto the Helumi drive or menu bar icon, access them in apps such as Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, QuickTime, and Preview, and share or receive files through links. Folders can be kept on a Mac for offline work, uploads can resume after Wi-Fi interruptions, and deleted files can be recovered for 30 days. Helumi also supports working across two Macs without edits overwriting each other. Plans are billed monthly, can be cancelled at any time, and range from 1 TB to 30 TB, starting at $9 per month for 1 TB. Files are encrypted and stored with Cloudflare.
