About Hemasync
HemaSync is a digital hematology workflow tool developed by Vanthilium, an independent software venture founded by practicing pathologist Dr. Umesh Krishna. Designed for pathologists, trainees, laboratory professionals, and teaching institutions, it helps users record and organize manual differential counts for peripheral blood smears and bone marrow examinations.
Users examine the specimen and identify each cell themselves; HemaSync records entries and tracks progress toward selectable 100-, 200-, or 500-cell targets, or a free-count option. Optional voice input enables hands-free counting, while case management keeps observations and workflow steps connected for review and reporting. The platform is available through a web app and mobile apps for Android and iOS.
HemaSync also offers optional AI-assisted analysis that can generate structured insights from a manual differential count. AI output is intended to support, not replace, professional judgment; cell identification, interpretation, and clinical decisions remain with the healthcare professional. AI features use credits, with a free monthly allowance and paid top-ups described. The product includes Google sign-in and offers cloud or local storage options.
