About Hemit HF
Hemit is the IT department of the Central Norway Regional Health Authority, responsible for providing all IT services to specialized health services in the counties of Trøndelag and Møre og Romsdal. Our main goal is to enhance patient care through the innovative use of ICT solutions. We ensure that the hospital's critical systems are always available, guaranteeing uninterrupted healthcare services.
At Hemit, we undertake diverse responsibilities. We execute large projects, procure new IT solutions, and actively participate in regional and national initiatives. With an unwavering commitment to our mission, we provide support to over 20,000 of Norway's most essential IT users round-the-clock.
Our team manages more than 1,500 applications, operates over 4,000 servers, and handles more than 130,000 interactions at our call center every year. With approximately 400 dedicated employees, our offices are strategically located throughout the region, with our headquarters situated in the heart of Trondheim.
