About Asociación Puertoriqueña de Hemofilia
Asociación Puertorriqueña de Hemofilia y Condiciones de Sangrado is an organization dedicated to serving patients with bleeding disorders, their caregivers, and families in Puerto Rico. Our mission is to educate and empower individuals in the bleeding disorder community, providing support and resources to advocate for excellent medical care and a better quality of life. We offer a range of programs and services to assist patients, including a Patients Assistance Program that provides financial assistance in emergency cases.
Our initiatives and campaigns aim to raise awareness and address the needs of the bleeding disorder community. Additionally, we conduct a community needs study to better understand the challenges faced by individuals with blood disorders. Through events like UNITE WALK, APH raises funds to support our patients, and we also host educational conferences like Empoderadas for women in the community.
