The Greek Haemophilia Society (GHS), known in Greek as Σ. Π. Ε.
Α., is an organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the health and wellbeing of people with haemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders. Based in Athens, the Society provides information and practical support for individuals and families affected by haemophilia, von Willebrand disease, rare clotting-factor deficiencies and platelet-function disorders. Its educational resources explain these conditions, treatment and care, everyday life, travel considerations and relevant health guidance.
The GHS also shares news, events and awareness campaigns, and offers information about Greek treatment centres and access to services, including disability certification, benefits, education, transport, employment and retirement matters. Its member programmes include physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, accommodation assistance and psychological support for both children and adults. People can learn about joining the Society, find useful links and contact the organization for assistance.
Through its resources, programmes and community activities, the GHS works to support people living with inherited bleeding disorders and help them access information, care and connection
