Hengststation Rödl

Hengststation Rödl is an equine breeding and stallion station based in Nittenau, Germany, offering sport-proven breeding stallions for covering and semen distribution throughout Europe. Its roster includes established and emerging names such as Lord Mexx, Kannandillo, Uruguay, Elton Z and Hernandez de la Cigale Z. The stallions are presented at national and international competitions and stallion showcases. The station highlights their sporting performance and breeding quality, including qualifications for young-horse championships and award-winning foals at Holsteiner Verband inspections.

For breeders, Rödl provides semen ordering and individual breeding advice, helping match mares with suitable national and international bloodlines. In cooperation with Miguel Blanco and Rocio Vicioso, it expects to offer OPU/ICSI, embryo transfer and insemination services for problem mares from around March or April 2026. The business also operates a tournament center and provides information about competitions and use of its facilities, alongside its associated riding club. Rödl combines an expanding stallion selection with opportunities for customers to follow the horses’ development in sport.
