The Henry Aucoin Foundation is a community-focused nonprofit dedicated to supporting children with heart conditions and their families. Its mission is to raise funds year-round for families whose children need heart surgeries, procedures, medication, medical equipment, or transplants while receiving treatment in New Orleans. The foundation also gives back to the wider community and hopes to work with area hospitals to improve the experience and quality of life of heart patients and their families.

Through donations, grants, volunteers, and fundraising events, the foundation helps advance this work. Its activities include Henry’s Hearts Gala, Bowling for Hearts, SCRATCH Golf, the Heart Walk, and other community events. The organization also offers opportunities to volunteer and provides information about congenital heart defects and its projects. Among its contributions, the foundation supported renovations at Children’s Hospital New Orleans, including a new cardiac intensive care unit and waiting room. By bringing together families, donors, volunteers, and community supporters, the Henry Aucoin Foundation works to make a difference for pediatric heart patients, one heart at a time.
