Henry County Archive

Henry County Archive & Genealogy Library is a local history and family research resource located in Paris, Tennessee. Based on Grove Hill, it brings together the Henry County Archive, a genealogy room, and volunteers from the Genealogical Society. The library supports people researching ancestors, military service, property, court records, and the history of Henry County and surrounding areas.

Its resources include records and indexes covering births and deaths, marriages and divorces, military service, estates and circuit court cases, newspapers and obituaries, cemeteries, census and voter records, and property and tax records. Visitors can also explore compiled records, family histories, surname files, local histories, and research links. The organization offers free look-ups for many items in its collection; copy fees may apply when copies are requested, and costs are confirmed in advance. For research beyond a focused look-up, the library can provide contact information for local researchers. It also sells books on regional families, events, communities, and records, including obituary indexes, marriage and divorce compilations, and military profiles.
