HP Racing is a horse-racing syndicate founded on the pioneering work of Henry Ponsonby, who introduced an exclusive partnership model that gives up to 12 people the opportunity to own a racehorse together. The organisation manages and runs small, friendly syndicates, working with leading trainers across the country and offering owners a personal connection to their horses and the sport.
HP Racing’s services include regular updates, owners’ badges and race-day experiences, tailored stable visits for syndicates or individuals, and invitations to special racing events. These have included a private viewing of equine art at the Osborne Gallery and a behind-the-scenes visit to the yearling sales with trainer Harry Dunlop. The website also features horses currently available, information about ownership, entries, news, videos and a hall of fame.
The syndicates have enjoyed successes with horses including First Mohican, Tiger Cliff, Who Dares Wins and Scarlet Dragon. The latter two helped deliver a notable double at Royal Ascot, while earlier horses provided owners with a winning association with the late Sir Henry Cecil.
