Henry Sandkuhle

Henry Sandkuhle is an international equine therapy and training practice led by horse therapist Henry Sandkuhle, who has worked with more than 1,000 horses over more than 20 years. Drawing on experience training horses in dressage and show jumping up to advanced level, judging dressage competitions, and observing wild horses in the Ural region, Henry takes an individual approach to understanding each horse and its circumstances.

Services are delivered at the horse’s location and include assessments, therapy for behavioural and riding problems, and support for horses affected by traumatic experiences. Visits aim to build an overall picture of the horse, explore concerns, and identify ways to improve its situation. Henry also works with horse owners through training, addressing issues both under saddle and from the ground, with recommendations tailored to participants and their horses.

The practice offers seminars and occasional free telephone consultation hours for owners with specific concerns. Based in the Münsterland region, Henry travels throughout Germany and internationally, and currently moves between Mallorca, Germany, and Switzerland.
