HENTSCHEL HAMBURG is an independent, family-owned watchmaking manufactory founded by watchmaker Andreas Hentschel in Hamburg. Since 1987, Andreas and his team have crafted fine mechanical wristwatches by hand in very small quantities, creating distinctive timepieces for customers who value individuality and traditional craftsmanship. The brand’s understated designs combine classic elegance with a sense of Hanseatic restraint, emphasizing lasting quality rather than ostentation.

Its collections include H1 and H2 models in Classic, Sport, Chronometer, Hafenmeister, Hamburg Botschafter, Admiral, and Mystique styles, with options such as automatic and hand-wound movements. Selected models feature materials including bronze, stainless steel, and gold. The Vintage Original anniversary editions bring together Hentschel’s design language and unused mechanical hand-wound movements from the 1960s, which are hand-finished in the Hamburg workshop.
