Herald Funeral

Herald Funeral Services is a South African funeral care provider established in 2017 to make burial financial solutions and practical family support more accessible. Serving communities across South Africa, Zimbabwe and the wider SADC region, the company combines funeral cover, funeral arrangements and personal guidance for families during difficult moments.

Its plans include options for individuals, families, societies, churches, pensioners and extended dependants, with monthly premiums and benefits varying by plan. The website lists core cover from R100 per month, family packages for up to 13 members, and selected plans offering cash claims of up to R20,000.

Herald’s funeral services include removal, storage, washing and dressing, embalming, coffins and caskets, transport and graveside support. Its repatriation service coordinates transport for deceased persons and family members across the region. The company also provides emergency assistance, claim guidance and help with documentation, policy verification and arrangements. Through its care desk, Herald aims to keep families informed and provide respectful, dependable support from the first call through the final farewell.
