About Herbstfest Erding
Erdinger Herbstfest is a long-running Bavarian folk festival in Erding, whose tradition dates back to 1816. Held annually for around ten days from the end of August, it is described as the third-largest folk festival in Upper Bavaria, after Munich and Rosenheim. The event brings together two large festival tents operated by Erdinger Weißbräu and Fischer’s Stiftungsbrauerei, the Erdinger Hütt’n, a café tent, beer gardens, food and drink stalls, and a range of large and small fairground rides. Visitors can also enjoy games, prize stalls, live music and, as part of the programme, horse racing.
The festival’s fan page gathers practical information and updates for visitors. Its resources include the event programme, site map, public transport and travel guidance, details about the festival tents, news, videos, lost property information, emergency numbers and frequently asked questions. The site was created by Ferdinand Klein, a devoted fan, and is continued in his memory by the RossaMedia team.
